What

5MW ground-mounted solar PV array

To bring our award-winning solar development at Braydon Manor to life we raised almost £3 million through a public share offer in January 2015, supported by a loan from Triodos Bank.

The 5MW project produces around 4,900 MWh of low carbon electricity every year – enough to supply the equivalent of over 1,800 houses.

Through a programme of considered land management, the site also has significant ecological benefits and acts as a biodiversity bank. Sowed with green hay from a Wiltshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve and kept under control by grazing sheep, the site is a haven for birds and bats, bees and bugs who enrich the surrounding farmland.
